 This is a great video for new CTLC teachers (Center for Teaching and Learning in China). For a simple game that works wonders on shy students, try Big Word. It's a lot like Taboo, and students only have to read 4 words.
You'll see these shy students listen to their classmates, work off of them, and really do a lot more than just read 4 words, however. Great for Open Door classes where parents watch. I mean, hey, that shy girl is finally talking! Read More Here! Doing a lesson on routines? Yeah, this is...brushing your teeth, washing my face, doing my homework...progressive tense.
Yep, gerunds, which = -ing and -ing = NOW. Yes, you are doing this...now. This is a great dialogue I used many time. Yep, it's about Tools Vocabulary, something you teach a lot to mid-level ESL students.
Use a model like this (if you want mine please leave a comment) and you'll be fine. Remember, the funnier it is, the better. Note: WC = Water Closet = Bathroom in many British-English countries. ESL pronunciation is boring. With this video you might think of some fun ways to change it up a bit.
This dialogue model discusses technology, and specifically the iPhone 17. There's a problem with it, and you have to go back to the store and complain. I did this in class in China. The model is pretty much the exact page from the textbook, and these students were higher-level teens. Write the example on the board, model the activity, give them 10 minutes to work with a partner, and then have them present to class. 
When you have one-on-one, or VIP, English students, you need to work on pronunciation. Drilling is a way to do that, and this short English teaching video will give you some good English language drilling ideas. Check out this site for great ESL phonics worksheets: Vita Education

Let's take a look at ESL Horror Island, a simple PowerPoint game that works great for mid-level ESL students. The quality of the pictures isn't that good in the video, but they're great in the PPT. You'll get a real good idea of how to play, and the kind of language you as a teacher need to be using to make the game a lot more fun. At the training center I worked for all the teachers played this game after I showed it to them. You can get it for just $0.99, saving you time, money and hassle. 
You can find dice like these online: 20-sided, 12-sided, 10-sided and 6-sided work best.
You can't go wrong with ESL hangman, unless you play it a million times.
