Remember, Easter is Sunday, April 20, this year.
She had some great slides, and I’ve used most of them. But to make the ESL Easter PPT even more exciting I’ve added in some extras.
Let’s go through some of them so you can see how this will work for you, get your students having fun and talking, and get you one week closer to summer.
ESL Easter Vocabulary
You might also want to encourage them to take notes. Or maybe not. See, those that take notes will do better…just wait and see!
Since Easter is a religious holiday we have two slides talking about that. Now, when I was teaching in China we’d try to shy away from this stuff. I’ll leave them in here so you can do what you want.
Below is what I think your students will really like, the game!
ESL Easter PowerPoint Game
I took all those Easter vocabulary slides you just went through and took out the names and changed the pictures around a bit. Now students can guess and get points.
You can change this if you want, but I think it’s a fun way to make ordinary games a little more exciting. And the time will also go by faster as a result. That’s a big win, right?
I’m sure a lot of students will know it, but you can get a few laughs and just have fun. To end the lesson you might want to pass out some Easter candy, do some art or coloring work, or give them a fun ESL word search.
If you want to make simple and fast word search, try Puzzlemaker – it’s great!
This ESL Easter PPT has 40 slides and will give you a great class. It can be yours for just $0.99 today!
