I’d try to get the students to say it, because let’s face it, you’re getting damn tired of correcting this all-too-common grammar mistake.
It’s a hard tense to pick up, this progressive perfect or whatever the hell it is (Americans I think are terrible with proper grammar names). This ESL Chores PPT makes it easier, however, with slides like this:
That way you can live it up, party hardy, and maybe even drink up all life has to offer.
Of course that might leave you feeling a little crummy the next day, and with a little chore of your own.
