So to bypass all the headaches and hassles that a misbehaving ESL class produces try breaking up your reading activities with a fun ESL reading worksheet. And because I’m in such a good mood today I’m going to give you this cool sheet for free.
Well, actually it’s just been sitting on a back page for a long time and I thought I’d just give it some love.
Anyways, students have to go back through the book they just read and find the words on the sheet. To make it a little more fun you can time them to see who can finish first. I found when I was an ESL teacher that it would take about 7 to 15 minutes for the first to finish, with most coming in at 15 to 25 minutes.
So in other words this is a great ESL resource for killing time. Enjoy it, and don’t be afraid to come back and leave a comment if it helps you out – people visit these old articles months after they’ve been published.
